The Lagoon borders on four sides, with limestone bluffs providing an incredible view as you’re able to sit down and take it all in for yourself. There aren’t any equipment rentals, but if fishing interests anyone, they can go ahead without worry because it will not affect their catch due to its clear waters.

Please be aware that entering the river is at your own risk. The City of Georgetown does not monitor water flow or bacteria levels, so make sure you’re considerate while exploring this natural area by removing anything taken in, including trash. Jumping from cliffs isn’t allowed either- it’s dangerous for both people and animals who may get stuck on rocks below if they fall into deep waters.

The Blue Hole in Georgetown is a great spot to enjoy the perfect barbecue as it has plenty of space and beautiful views. Just be sure not to bring your alcohol because it is officially banned at this park (and if there are any glass bottles found, they’ll get destroyed). And as always–no parking in undesignated areas or fires anywhere except portable gas grills are allowed with these few exceptions, so don’t forget them when packing up afterward.
